Graduating

ESV Proverbs 21:1 The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will.

They are letting me graduate… or I should say one very kind lady in a cubicle on the top floor of a building on a campus has decided… you’ve done enough!

Hurrah!

  1. Yeah, you know, I was a little worried. The head of the history department didn’t approve of the courses I took at the HU – said they were Greco-Roman studies and not history. I was going to have to do another semester.

A senior academic adviser thought that was a little ludicrous and said she was going to award the points… whew, that saves me a lot of money and time!

I will stick around for the fall and head back to J’lem in January. Bodnar, a company I worked for while I was in Calgary, has shoveled a few projects my way for the fall. I am looking at continuing studies in a masters program (Bible and the Ancient Near East) or teaching at a school in J’lem. Have some other opportunities there as well but need a visa in order to live there which means I have to be enrolled in some kind of program.

So I just found out that you have another on the way! Congrats! I hope we can connect some time!
